Choose the "New Products for October" Display Products

On my home page, where it says "New Products for October", of course there is an assortment of products from various categories. It seems random. Is there some way I can choose which products appear there?

(I am sorry, I am not sure if this post belongs here or in the "admin" catagory.)

yes,but first you need to make "featured products" show at home page,second you can select products you like to be the featured products
