why dose my item price show as (A£)

well i have added a item to my shop to test it but its displaying at A£40.00 i dunno why the A is there

Is there maybe a difference between the format (collation) used for the database vs. that used for the screen. I see that your english.php file is specifying 'iso-8859-1' for the CHARSET ... what is the DB_CHARSET that is specified in your /includes/configuration.php file?

I am having this same issue. I have added some gift vouchers to my store and called the £5 Gift Voucher, £10 Gift Voucher and so on. The prices show as £5, £10 etc but the title reads as A£5 Gift Voucher etc. I edited the title to £5 Gift Voucher which has corrected it but am I missing a setting somewhere to do this automatically?

You can see what I mean by looking at my site http://www.giftmakersdirect.com/inde...index&cPath=22 I have left the £100 Gift Voucher unaltered all the rest have been corrected.
