Homepage Layout with CSS3 Hover Effects - 8 Variations

I was just trying to combine the two together so the site looks seamless.

Where I uploaded the Bristol background and header menu background images took over, that is basically how I wanted it with a few modifications.

I do not want the ribbon header and footer link background on the Hompage, I instead wanted the others like Bristol Lace template. I was wanting to know where the ribbon link background is located?

On the Homepage footer, is there anyway to make that background the same on as the Bristol header.

When I did add the templates together it made the Home, Log In, Account, Currenty, and all that go under the link background. Do you know how to fix any of these?

If you want to make css changes to the template I strongly recommend using firefox and installing firebug. It will help you to find the exact lines in the stylesheets that you need to edit.

Hi-

I have several question regarding this template effect and features!

I am trying to see how do I add a featured box below the hover effect on the main page? I turned on the new arrival box in the admin area under index listing, but it did not come up on the main page.



Also how do I add instagram & tumblr icons at the bottom footer and the wording at the top drop down under connect? I tried to duplicate the structure in the footer file and upload the icons but nothing showed and header file.

I notice I received a log error after I resized my logo and uploaded it to the image folder [05-Mar-2013 16:38:56] PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home1/urbancl1/public_html/test/includes/languages/english/14884/header.php on line 32...How do I correct this error?

I do notice that my header looks a little funny in different web browsers: firefox, internet explorer & google chrome (screeshot below). How do I make sure that it look all the same in every browser?

1. Remove the display:none; from the index.css file

2. To add to the header menu you can edit includes/templates/14884/common/tpl_mega_menu.php. To add to the footer edit includes/templates/14884/common/tpl_footer.php

3. The error log does not have anything to do with your logo. Check the file and line mentioned to find the problem.

4. The template was cross browser tested out of the box for ie9, ie9, ie7, chrome, firefox, and safari. If you make changes you will need to cross browser test again and make any adjustments that are needed to the css.

If you read the readme.html file you will find instructions for customizing the text of the drop down headings.

What types of links do you want to add? Under which drop down menu?

You will need to edit one of the css files. If you are making css changes, I would recommend using firefox and using the web developer tools/firebug to find the lines and files that need to be edited.

1. Under quick links -I want to change the wording to home & only have New Arrivals & all products underneath
2. Under categories link - I want to change the wording to Clothing & only have tops, skirts, dresses, maxi dresses, blazer & leggings underneath
3. Under brands - I want to change the wording to accessories & only have hats, scarves, earrings, necklace, bracelets & body chains underneath
4. Under about us - I want to change the wording to sale & nothing underneath, but link to the special page
5. Under info - I want to change the wording to preorder & nothing underneath, but link to a ezpage

Working on my site and it'c coming out great! Just noticed something though

WARNING: An Error occurred, please refresh the page and try again.
When I click on the "All Products" link.

My error log shows the following:

PHP Fatal error: 1109:Unknown table 'p' in field list :: select count(p.products_id) as total in /home/alljust/public_html/includes/classes/db/mysql/query_factory.php on line 120

I looked at the file - can't make heads or tales of it and have never touched it.
This just started happens only when I turn my template 14884 on (of course there must be a reason, I just have no clue what it could be).

When i turn the template 14884 off the "all products" and "new products" shows up with no problem or error

Anyone have any ideas?
