UPS Rates Very High

Hello,

I know there are other posts on this issue but I have not found an answer to the issue I am having with my shipping rates for UPS. I have looked in the configuration for tare weight and everything looks to be setup right, like 0:0.3 (to add .3 pounds for tare weight). My UPS shipping rates are roughly
$10 more than what they should be. An example is adding roughly 4 different products that weight that add up to 1.13 lbs and getting a quote of $15.54 for regular ground shipping from zip 53809 to zip 53809. Looking it up manually through UPS, it should be $5.84 since it is considered a 2 lb package and destination is in zone 2. My website is www.simplyposh.net and any help in the right direction would be appreciated.

If I have in my cart:
Total Items: 10 Weight: 1.3375lbs Amount: $106.03

The rates are cheaper on the UPS site ...

However, if I mark the Ship To address as Residential then the rates are the same ...

I do have mine setup for RES, is there anywhere else that I need to change?

If you look in your Zen Cart Admin at the Modules ... Shipping ... and click on UPS, what do you see in the right hand panel?

This is what I have configured for UPS:

Enable UPS Shipping - True
UPS Pickup Method - CC
UPS Packaging - CP
Residential Delivery - RES
Handling Fee - 0
Handling per Order or Box - Order
Tax Class - none
Tax Basis - Shipping
Sort order Display - 20
Shipping Methods - I have all of them available

I went to UPS site and downloaded their rates, for UPS Ground, it should be $5.84 for zone 2 at 2 pounds. Maybe I am missing something obvious but have no idea.

I did reproduce the rate at $15 on UPS website like you said but that doesn't match their rate by zone table for UPS Ground.

I have the same issue. I think that commercial delivery settings are less of a charge than residential.... are they not?

I changed my settings from CC to RDP for UPS Pickup Method (as per a separate thread suggested), and it fixed my issue. Sorry if it was a over asked question without researching first.
