Cannot edit coupons

I noticed something a while ago, but thought it was just a bad way for me to work the system, but today, it is doing the same thing. If i have a coupon code and want to edit it, or check something about it, i cannot find a way to get to that particular coupon.
- if i click on the coupon, i am sent to the last page of coupons which might or might not be where the particular coupon i want to edit was
- if i click on the i in the last column to reach the information on the coupon, i am sent to the last page of coupons

I cannot seem to be able to reach the coupon information itself. This happened probably since the last upgrade i did (to 1.5.0). I have not yet upgraded to 1.5.1. as i have to check if any of the named files had been customized by the programmer.

Any idea what would cause the coupons to not be editable by not being "reachable"?

Are you in the admin??

Selecting gift certificates/coupons > coupon admin > then the coupon and edit??

Yes, that is what i do, and i cannot get to the actual coupon info at all.

What method for the upgrade did you use? and from what version?

I had a programmer do it, and it went to 1.5.0 from just the previous version (which required a little bit more than just changing one file from what i read).

I would review the files that any addons have altered in the admin
Make copies of them on your PC
Then reload all the admin files and see if that enables your coupon admin
If so, then load the file copies one at a time and check coupons
If it was not one of the altered files then you should be ok
But if one of the altered files breaks the coup[on admin you will know which one

Since i am not really that familiar with all the files that were altered in the upgrades and customizations, is there a simple way to identify those files? Specific directory? other?

Discuss it with your programmer. Most will be willing to fix this kind of 'loose end' that invariably occur from time to time.
