Using Fantastico but can't find files

While you can, get away from 123-reg.

They are OK for domain registration, but NOTHING ELSE !

go back to hostgator (not perfect, but MUCH better than 123-reg.

If you are SERIOUS about starting a business online, then understand that your host and technical partner is a VITAL part to your success. 123-reg could not care a hoot whether you succeed in an online business or not.

Hi,

Happy New Year to all.

I could not get along with 123reg cpanel, and lack of direction, so I've changed to Host Gator cpanel.

I've done all instructed, set up data base etc, but when I type in the url with /z_c install I just get a 404 error page message.

Is there something Ive missed please?

It's not z_c install

It's zc_install

Yes sorry I meant zc_install, but still error page.

I will try Hostgator Help Line first to make sure all is OK with the Domain transfer.

Hopefully you won't hear from me again!

It's perfectly OK to come ask questions...

However, my observations are that you don't have a very good knowledge of some of the basics of website configuration - and as this lack of knowledge is not really a zencart issue you should not be asking questions relating to general website and server setup. The main reason I say this is because there is already a LOT of information on the WWW about server setup, database creation, FTP principles, etc... etc... and you would do well to go and learn a lot of this stuff on tutorial sites dedicated to these topics. There is no point in re-writing all that stuff here. You will need it constantly, if you intend to manage your own site.
