PAYPAL IPN BACKLOG TODAY - Orders not showing up at all but payments are .Help!

Suddenly this morning I have received three orders and thay have been paid for via Paypal. But there is no record of them anywhere on the Orders page or Customers page.
The customers have received Welcome emails but no confirmation of their orders either.
Anybody have any suggestions as to why this is happening?

The same thing has started happening to me this morning! Customer places order ok and I get the payment notification from Paypal but nothing shows in the admin and there is no email generated by the admin with the order details. So, I get the payment but haven't a clue what the customer has ordered, a tad embarrassing...

Its very odd. I just made a test purchase and it all went through fine. I received the email order confirmation as well. Both customers sisnt receive theirs only a Paypal confirmation.
Is there a limit to how many orders the databse can hold ? Maybe its that .?

My purchase went the same way as customers'. No email from the admin, I'm wondering if Paypal have changed anything but there's nothing on here about anything.

HOWEVER, I know at one time Paypal Express payments would not allow the user to chose a shipping address other than what is on their paypal account. My customers do this all the time. Is this still a limitation?

Well that would put me off if it's the case..

ok...instructions followed.....even changed the proxy settings as advised. How long should it take for the orders to show up?

My past orders that were placed this morning had to be refunded and redone by the customer. It was embarrassing to ask them that, but oh well. Luckily I didn't have too many.

I know you can remove that pesky "check out with PayPal" button in the module then it won't skip the shipping address and all that. But you have to be using v1.3.9h or newer to remove it through the module settings.
