    Default New Contact Form Email - Messages not being sent?

    I have a problem with the Contact Us form. I recently changed the contact form email address and since then emails dont get received, when sent all appears ok i.e message sent successfully.

    If I revert back to the old contact form email address (the email address where the zencart shop is hosted) messages are sent & received with no problem.

    Please could someone help?

    Post your admin > config > email options

    And what you want as your address

    Try activating "email archiving"
    This will track if ZenCart is generating the email
    Once generated it is passed off to your accounts MTA(mail transport agent)
    If they are generated that is all that ZenCart has responsibility for
    If they are not then being sent, it is something to do with your email server

    Um, based on the settings you posted, your contact-us emails will indeed go to the address you mentioned.

    Perhaps you tried putting something into the "Set Contact Us Email Dropdown List" and didn't follow the pattern correctly? If you don't need to supply multiple email destinations via a pulldown on that page, then just leave that blank, and it'll send all contact-us emails to your "Email Address (Displayed to contact you)" address, which is already the correct address based on what you posted above.

    Delima....Moved cart from one host to another. Everything seemed to be working perfectly...orders coming in, email alerts, everything looked good, but for some reason my "Contact Us" page is not sending anything out. NO emails being received even though I get a confirmation screen saying sent sucessfully within zencart. V1.3.9h... I didn't change a thing on the email config. Always used PHP, and I have other sites running off the same server just fine with email.php. I was able to send a email via the Admin Tools/send email, but still nothing from the contact us page.

    I am experiencing the exact same problem. Spending hours trying different configs in admin. Contact emails just don't work.
    Installed Mail Archive Manager (Thanks for the info Dr Byte).
    So I guess this shows that My Contact emails never seem to get generated although I get the "Your message has been successfully sent" message after I press Send button.

    So after installing Mail Archive Manager (Thanks for the info Dr Byte) I could see the email was not being generated.
    Cleared the "Set Contact Us Email Dropdown List" completely.
    Contact Us is now working - plus I can see the output in the above tool.

    Thanks for confirming that removing the invalid destination in your contact-us-pulldown settings resolved your problem of contact-us-emails not being sent.

    OK...like always...somewhere there was human error on my part.

    Thought I would send a test message today before looking for more ways to fix it..... Dang if it isn't working now! All I did was remove a "coma" after the email address in the "Send Copy of Order Confirmation Emails To" line. Now it all works....wow..... Thanks for all the info above, it did make me review the lines more closely. Thanks again...
