ERRORS BLANK PAGE when too many products in cart

Hello

I have a digital products store, where customers can only buy digital products with downloads attributes.
Well this morning i had a lady who added in her cart 118 items, and when she go to checkout she got a blank page, the store litterally slowdown and then blank page, i just did a test..

does that means that Zencart has limit with shopping cart, and if yes how many products max is allowed to the cart.

I've had this before. its not the code breaking, I think you will find 118 items in the cart is causing too many SQL queries and the server is bumming out..

check your server logs, if you don't know how ask your host to do it.

Yes i think with the traffic we have it was a server issue.. anyway i was able to empty the customer's basket database cache so she can log again.. i think 118 items was way too much.. and i am in hostgator.

I've flagged this before but I don't think it's too much of a concern. I suggested maybe the cart should pagnatate in some way to limit items per page. Anyway, glad you got sorted.

NOTE: if you are doing this by hand, then ensure when you delete from the table:
customers_basket
that you also delete from the:
customers_basket_attributes
