Why my English page can't show Chinese contents?

hi there,
i found a problem for my page to show Chinese contents when i turn page to English, is any any method can solve this problem, thanks.

Hard to help without more information....

But I would guess all aspects of your installation are not configured to handle Chinese characters.
Your DB_CHARSET, CHARSET, and the database tables and columns most all be configured with a character set which supports Chinese characters. Additionally, whatever software you are using to edit your content must support (and save using) the same character set.

One possible character set to use is UTF-8... It is one of the mostly widely supported way to encode non iso-latin-1 characters.

hi, thanks for the explain.
in fact i just installed tchinese version on my page then i tried to enter both chinese & english description on page.when i switch to english page, those chinese wordings just can't show properly...... so what can i do to make it possible for english page show chinese wordings? thanks.
