Looking for an Add-On that allows admin to add fields to a product

I'm looking for an Add or plug-in the allows admin to add customized fields to a product. Specifically, my clients wants shipping box dimensions and also have a HazMat status too.

I found the Numinix plugin but from the description the new fields are not customizable.

i did take a shot at this but had some errors. also this thread is 13 pages long.

From the numinix mod description...

Many optional fields are included in this package that serve a specific purpose and can be displayed on your product pages (i.e. UPC/ISBN). Other fields, however, can be customized for any desired function.

Here is a list of the optional fields:

Continental Shipping - creates a field for each continent where you can define a shipping rate for the product.
Date Added - allows you to modify the date_added of any product. Useful for sorting products by date or re-releasing an old product.
Dimensions - creates fields for length, width, height, and diameter
...

If you know your way around PHP and MySQL, you could probably eliminate the numerous irrelevant fields and focus on the ones you want.

Hello, I've read through the forum, and I too found the 5 year old thread:

And also found the Numinix plugin too.

I also do not want all of the Numinix fields, but just a few of the custom fields.

Is there something new, easy, up-to-date to do this?

Basically looking to add v_product_height, v_product_length, v_product_fits fields to my txt file to import with EP4 and have those fields display on the pages, and be searchable too would be nice.
