Default Error Messages in cache folder

    www.ulster-scots.biz and www.irishteatowels.com

Getting these messages in my cache folder on both sites above.

[05-Feb-2013 08:28:26] PHP Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home2/irishisb/public_html/ulster-scotsbiz/isa38/includes/modules/product/collect_info.php on line 512

(for www.irishteatowels.com it references line 541

Do anyone know what is causing these ?

What mods/changes have you made to your store?

The two stores were set up around 2 years ago and since then many add ons were used. This all only came out due to the fact the hosting company reported on the huge amount of cache files and when we checked we say thousands of these error files for the two sites. These have all been deleted but we need to find the cause to stop them building up again.

You will note the stock Zen Cart 1.3.9h file for "/admin/includes/modules/product/collect_info.php" is only 513 lines long (you reported one of your installations shows the error on line 541). In the stock Zen Cart 1.3.9h file, line 512 is HTML not PHP code (not a call to MySQL). This indicates you have made a modifications to this file on both of your installations (and possibly different modifications on each site) - most likely when a "module" or "plugin" was added.

Without knowing exactly what changes you have made to this file, it will be difficult for anyone to help. This is why picandnix asked you "What mods/changes have you made to your store?". I would speculate based upon the error you may have some custom code directly interfacing with MySQL instead of using the Zen Cart database abstration layer as query_factory is not mentioned in the error report.
The glass is not half full. The glass is not half empty. The glass is simply too big!
Where are the Zen Cart Debug Logs? Where are the HTTP 500 / Server Error Logs?
