Customer Comments not Showing in Admin

Hi,

I have searched high and low through the forums for a solution to this. In my admin area when I view the orders, I see the yellow box indicating that there is a comment by the customer. When I click edit, invoice or packing slip, the orders that state there is a comment show no comments.

I have set the Shipping / Packing variables correctly and have them on the display comments.

I have also checked the zen_orders_status_history table in my database and see that the comments are being stored in the table. It is not showing up in my admin area.

The funny thing is, is that comments were working before and the last comment that I can view is March 2, 2013. From then on, no comments are visible.

I have not added any addons to my zencart and the only modification I have made is removing the "larger image" link from the products.

I hope someone can help me solve this and it would very much appreciated.

Just to let you know that it is French comments that are not being shown using the English version of admin. It has to do with the special character set.

Changing the charset, now shows special characters for French and all comments are now showing.
