Botched my EZ pages - can't add any new ones

I'm a novice zenner. I've had good experience so far with my Zencart, but recently in adding an EZ page while I was too tired, I inadvertantly added html code in the Page Title of my EZ page and clicked 'Save' before realizing it. As a result, I could not select this entry to delete it - See attached screenshot of the result (ID 45 is the entry).



Then in my attempt to delete the entry, I think I botched it even more because, not only did it not delete the entry, but now I've lost the option to add more EZ pages.

So my questions are: are there files I can tweak to restore the EZ page functionality? Or do I have to reload - and if I have to reload, are there files specific to the EZ pages that I can reload to bring it back to it's original functionality without reloading the entire Zencart, and if so, which ones?

My Zencart was uploaded as a new install last November via FTP. My SQL version is 4.1/PHP version is 5.3.8. I am using Zencart version 1.5.1.. My website address is www.psychicimprints.com, but I have disabled the EZ pages until I can remedy this. Please help! PJWings

If you have a database backup you can segregate out the table ezpages

BUT before you do - if your created pages display on your front end copy the text to a file for later use

Use phpmyadmin and drop the ezpages table and import your segregated ezpages table from your backup

Now you should be back to square one - where ever that was when you took the backup

Recreate any pages missing

That fixed it! Being a novice, I was just barely aware of the databases, not having to deal so directly with them in the short time I've had with my ZenCart. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I bow to your infinite Zen-ness, Kobra!

So you did have a DB Backup??

I did have a backup, but I didn't have to go much further than that. As I was looking at the database on my server, I found the record (#45) that started my trouble. Since I had a backup, I tried deleting the record from the database to see if that would fix the problem. It did - now I'm back to good, my good EZ-pages are still intact and I'm able to add new EZ-pages again...and I'm glad to be more aware of my databases. I've spent so much time working with and from the ZenCart Admin, I didn't even think about editing the database.

Deleting a record as you did is also a way to correct some things

ALWAYS make a backup before doing anything like this just in case

Agreed. Already having a backup at hand is what gave me the courage to try to delete the record. I did think that I would probably still have to reload something to get the functionality to add new pages back, but the bad record must have been causing that, too. Thanks!
