How Can I edit what's displayed on the admin dashboard?

Hi,

So I'm just wondering how you edit / change what is shown on the admin dashboard?
(the screen you first see when you log into your admin or when you click "admin home")

I've been looking online for a tutorial but seemingly nobody has any info about this up?

What do you want to change, and why ?

We have a few people here that are completely and utterly technologically inept.
(eg: trying to copy paste some text to a document on their desktop, copies text, right clicks desktop and tries to paste it there for 5 minutes)

So I'm trying to make the admin side of zen cart literally as simple as possible... Was thinking on the dashboard we should just have new users and new orders (so as not to confuse them)...

You said you're using v1.5.0. In v1.5.x, you do that by editing the PHP code in the /admin/index.php file. There are 3 divs for the 3 columns, and within each are divs for the various boxes and their content.

Is there a way to code in the order_status to show with the new orders?
