Installment Plan module?

Hello,

I have been directed to the forum to ask this question:

I have downloaded and set up Zen Cart 1.5.1 and need to find a way to let customers pay a deposit to start with and pay the rest at a later stage. Your module Installment Plan seems to meet my requirements, however I don't know whether it is compatible with the ZenCart version I'm using 1.5.1.

Can anyone help with this please?

Apparently the mod is not supported any more, and cannot work for credit card payments in recent ZC versions. See the end of the thread.

It's conceivable that for non-cc payment methods, it could still work in v1.5.1; someone who knows the mod would have to say that.

Thanks. I will need to have cc payment enabled.

I have read about layaways, which could be another way, but I haven't found a module for that. Any ideas?
