install google analytics

I'm trying to install the plugin Simple Google Analytics, about the instructions say to "Make alterations to tpl_main_page.php file". In the ftp files /includes/templates/[your_template]/common/tpl_main_page.php
I dont have the tpl_main_page.php so I can't install the plugin.

Can you help me?

You make a copy of the file from /template_default/common for your template

And this was posted in general questions - which is for default coding issues

You are talking about a 3rd party plugin and should be looking and posting in the addon thread area
