Help needed - strange problem occured when changed server

Hi Guys,

I just moved old version zencart to a new hostgator VPS server. Everything works fine except my site can not be seen on any windows XP machine. CRAZY I KNOW

I get this error:

The webpage at ------ might be temporarily
down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.

Error 108 (net::ERR_ADDRESS_INVALID): Unknown error


All other operating systems are fine. Crazy right

Before being asked, yes i am planning to upgrade to the latest version. But that is months away with many many hours of work ahead to complete it. I need a quick fix i can pass on to my host in the meantime.

And no it is not a template issue as everything worked fine when i was on a shared server XP included.

And yes i have contacted the host several times, with no luck as they could really care less if you have a problem outside of thier limited server knowledge.

Yes i have googled this problem for no luck at all.

Yes i know it is a dead OS but guess what my users are old fashioned and will stick with it till there PC cases rust and fall apart. I am getting complaints daily.

Did anyone ever find out how to fix it??? It sure leaves a bad taste in my mouth

Well on XP as you know the site does not load
Checking at
http://www.internic.net/whois.html

This is what is listed as your nameservers
Name Server: NS1.VIDEO-OF-BODYBUILDING.COM
Name Server: NS2.VIDEO-OF-BODYBUILDING.COM

If these are not what your nameservers should be you need to correct this
Otherwise I would expect that being a VPS - that your server configuration is not correct

Most often I have seen this message when network connectivity issues exist between the computer and the server.
This can be a wide range of things including (but not limited to): misconfigurations of proxies, misconfiguration of network software/hardware and/or routing, interfering firewalls, overloaded servers or internet connections, misconfigured server settings or software, corrupted temporary internet files (including cookies), and malware on the client.

May not be related (or may be).
I'm seeing a number of things including your site taking between 3-5 seconds to respond to the initial request for data (you can use FireBug or an external site such as webpagetest.org for more detailed speed loads). This seems a little excessive...
