Duplicate Orders with PayPal Payments Pro and COWOA

Using ZenCart 1.5 with COWOA and have been getting some duplicated orders.

The orders are paypaldp on different credit card types. The customer gets two order confirmations with two different order numbers, time stamps are about 30 seconds apart.

I enabled logging on PayPal Payments Pro and PayPal express checkout modules, where are the log files stored?

Anything I should look for to track down the problem? I don't see any pattern except that all the duplicates are from paypaldp and not paypalwpp.

I did do extensive searching for posts about duplicate orders, but all I found were a few threads about other payment modules and mostly about just duplicate emails instead of actual duplicate orders.

Now that I've found the logs, what should I look at for clues? On the date of the last duplicate order there are two nearly identical (except for transaction ID and timestamp) log entries for the order for PayPal_CURL... and paypaldp_Paypal_Action items.

Reading old threads I know that duplicate orders used to be created if the customer was spastic or impatient and hit submit twice. I thought I had seen that fixed in change-logs though. The customers at this store have been asked if they submitted twice and they all deny it.
