Discount code / coupon for a customers first order

Hi, im being a bit thick today. I can't figure out how to do this.

I want to set Zen Cart up to issue a 10% off coupon to someone when they register with the Zen Cart site.
I can create the coupon to give 10% off orders with a minimum of £80, but I cant work out how this is automatically emailed to a new registered customer.

thinking about it, I don't really need to, do I. I just need an image on the home screen telling new users to use a promo code of 'WELCOME10' at checkout.

You can do that ...

In addition, you can make your Discount Coupon for WELCOME 10 and set it as Unlimited uses and 1 Per Customer then in the settings Configuration ... GV Discount Coupons ... set the Welcome coupon to that WELCOME 10 coupon in:

New Signup Discount Coupon ID#
Select the coupon
