    Default Payflow Pro for PayPal?

    I found this add-on (http://www.zen-cart.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=212)

    AND...

I also see PayFlow settings in my PayPal Express module..
    PayPal Mode
Which PayPal API system should be used for processing?
    Choices:
For choice #1, you need to supply API Settings above.
    1. PayPal = Express Checkout with a regular PayPal account
    or
for choices 2 & 3 you need to supply PAYFLOW settings, below (and have a Payflow account)
    2. Payflow-UK = Website Payments Pro UK Payflow Edition
    3. Payflow-US = Payflow Pro Gateway only
So I'm a little confused.. I'm not sure if I even NEED the Payflow Pro for PayPal module, and need some confirmation.. Is PayFlow supported now with the native Zen Cart PayPal modules??

Hate to bump this post, but I am still not very clear on Payflow integration with Zen Cart. In the PayPal Express module if I select Payflow-US for the PayPal Mode, then I see the following settings fields:
    PAYFLOW: Partner
    PAYFLOW: Vendor
    PAYFLOW: User
    PAYFLOW: Password

If I enable PayFlow this way, is the installation of the "Payflow Pro for PayPal" module even needed??

I don't think it is needed.

The mod you are referring to in your first post (the one from the plugins area) was only compatible with 1.38a and was then upgraded by DrByte to work with 1.3.9

Me thinks that this mod is obsolete from v 1.5.x onwards as it appears to be integrated.

I just had a play with the integrated Pro payment module in one of my test installs (1.5.1) and it appears that one needs to install Express Checkout, select the UK or US version for Pro and then one needs to install PayPal Website Payments Pro (you probably know this already....)

Sorry, only answer I have for this add-on question.

Guess DrByte would be the one to clear the fog....

    Cheers / Frank

Pretty sure it will just work, provided you supply correct credentials.

What happened when you tested it?

I spoke with PayPal's "Integration Team". They tell me that I should use either the Payments Pro or Payflow Pro modules (not both). They indicated that PayPal Express is only REQUIRED for Payments Pro, and optional when using the Payflow Pro module. Finally the integration specialist indicated that when configuring PayPal Express, that if I use the Payflow-US (versus the default value of PayPal) for the PayPal Mode then PayPal Express transactions can also be managed via the PayPal Manager (which is where Payflow transactions are managed) along with the Payflow Pro transactions

So based on this here's what I ended up doing..

    • Inactivated PayPal Payments Pro module
    • Installed, activated and configured the Payflow Pro module.
    • Modified the PayPal Express module settings and selected Payflow-US (versus the default value of PayPal) for the PayPal Mode, then I removed the API Settings and added the values for the following Payflow settings fields:
      • PAYFLOW: Partner
      • PAYFLOW: Vendor
      • PAYFLOW: User
      • PAYFLOW: Password

Everything seems to be working fine.. the only issue I am seeing is that the PayPal Express transactions for orders received before I made these changes are are giving me the "ORGID missing" (see image below)

Ya, that's expected, since the transactions were done with a different merchant ID, and therefore you're unauthorized to retrieve live information about them.

Yep.. That's what I kinda figured.. I also saw in another post that you said these errors were somewhat harmless so I'm gonna let this slide..
