Default Easy Populate Question Regarding Image Link

Hope I've posted this in the right area. I'm trying to import a csv listing of products into my Zen Cart and I'm able to import everything but the image. Instead of using an image file on my pc, I am using an http: link for the location of the image. I know the link is working properly because I can copy/paste it into the address bar, the image shows up fine. If I goto my catalog listing, the link is showing up correctly in the Image Name: area. When I click Preview, the image is not there. At that point, I inspect the "image not found" link it and it shows http://mywebsite/images/"http://my_image_location" I've tried looking around my admin area but am lost in cyber-space.

I would greatly appreciate if anyone can point me in the right direction!

    Thx

Ok, I'm still looking in the forum for an answer but here's where I am since my first post. I've been able to get a listing of my image files in this format c:\TurboLister\data\user\000\myimage.jpg Is it possible to create a macro or used a program to remove everything but the jpg name ?

I assume that you can load this list into openoffice or excel and there are loads of information on the web for this

Kobra - thanks for the lead.. downloaded open office and was able to create a macro to do the job. So I uploaded my test csv file and everything is cool except the additional picture in my images folder is not showing up on the listing. The main picture 3501_0.jpg is showing fine but image 3501_1.jpg is nowhere to be found. I made sure that file is in the same folder and can see the picture when I type in the direct URL. Weird.... Can you point me in a direction ? Thx again for putting up with us non-programmer types!

I get a 404 error when attempting to load images/3501_1.jpg

Use FTP and check that the image is there in your /images folder

ok well that was a little embarrasing. Here's a better example. The book is Alfred's Prep Course For the Young beginner Level C. You can find it by going to Holiday songbooks for Piano and it should be on the first page. Image files are 3639_0.jpg and 3639_1.jpg I just checked the url's but the second image is not showing. Thx

ps I should also give you the link: http://cheapsongbooks.com/index.php?...roducts_id=664
