"Contact Us For Availability" Option

I am in the firearms sales industry and would like to know if there is a MOD where I can input "Contact Us For Availability" instead of the Units Available on in my case not available. It will be years before the industry gets back to what is was even close to what it was and I am trying to simplify my inventory updating. if someone has any advice I would greatly appreciate their feedback.

Will all items be 'contact us for availability' or just some? If all, you could put the shop in 'showcase' mode and change the wording accordingly.

It's not clear exactly what you want to do, but would changing the 'Sold Out' image/text to 'Contact Us For Availability' do the job ?

As an aside, I was visiting another gun-related retailer yesterday, and every single product I looked at was out of stock. You're right that the industry will take years to recover, but the real point, I think, is that this situatiion has also been ongoing for several years. Any other industry, when faced with overwhelming demand, would increase production.

Pretty much all gun related items I want the Contact Us For Availability. I also have archery products as well and most of those things are fairly easy to get a hold of.

You could also use the "call for price" feature (configurable per product) and change the image / text to say "Contact for availability"... Although this also removes the ability of a customer to add the product to the order...
