Raindrop Theme Troubleshooting

Anyone familiar with the Raindrop theme? (@ themeforest by bitshok) I've submitted a ticket for support from the developer, but that's been a few days ago with no reply.

I'm having trouble with the footer displaying on the main page, as well as the header/slider images. Then, on each product page, the description, add to cart, etc is no longer visible. I've removed any manufacturers as support docs suggested for the footer problem, with no luck.

Any thoughts or suggestions on other things I might try?

I'm running version 1.5.1 and used ftp to upload the files if that helps. link: http://www.farmersapothecary.com/zencart

Have you checked your /logs folder for any myDEBUG*.log files? It looks like what you're experiencing is a "partial whitescreen", i.e. there's a PHP error in the footer.php script causing the content to not render.

There are some, but I'm not sure how to debug the bugs it returns.

Post the contents of the newest error log file here, and we can probably help.

Here's what it contained. I've tried reuploading the files in question, just in case there was an ftp error. No change, so it must be something with the coding itself in the files? If needed, I can paste the contents of the files mentioned in the log.

After some more tinkering, I got the footer to display on the main page. Yay!

But, if anyone has any ideas on the main page slider image(s) not displaying or where the heck my individual product descriptions might have gone, please let me know.

your tpl_product_info_display.php is hiding all of your product details when viewing your page source...

I'm guessing they show up when you switch back to the Classic Green Template?

Thanks for checking it out. Indeed they do. What do you think would be the best way to fix that?

My guess at what happened:
1 - someone deleted the code
2 - the template is hiding the code
3 - there is an option from a recent module/template install turned off in admin if one exists
4 - the template install overwrote the code

To fix it:
I would merge the original product_info_display with a copy of the product_info_display provided with your template.

This assumes that 1 - 3 aren't the problem... that 4 is.

Do you mean just swap out the template's product_info_display for the default template's coding? Wouldn't that break the new layout?
When I first installed the template, the descriptions showed up, and then through the course of my tinkering they disappeared. I have no idea what I tinkered with right before they disappeared either
