    Default How Do I Change The Error Box Color?

    One of the sites I'm maintaining is using the PinkyWinky template. When an error occurs, the box that pops up is bright yellow. That's not a bad thing, because it really catches the attention. But the error text inside it is a very pale pink, so it's practically invisible.

    I tried changing the text color to something darker, a long time ago, but it changed ALL the pale pink text to dark text...and against the normal dark purple background, THAT'S nearly invisible! LOL So it seems to me that the easiest solution is just to change the color of the box background to something that contrasts with both the dark purple background and the pale pink text.

    Could someone please tell me where to find that particular box?

    Thanks!!

    Even the name of the box would help, so I can search for it.

    Probably this in stylesheet.css:

    .messageStackCaution {
    background-color: #FFFF66;
    color: #000000;
    }

    That did it...thank you! Only the stylesheet in the PinkyWinky template wasn't the one I needed...it was the classic template. Once I modified that, it worked perfectly!

    Very odd... If the pinkywinky template is active, /classic/ files cannot have any effect whatsoever. If a /classic/ file does have an effect, that indicates that you are not actually using the /pinkywinky/ template folders.
