Default Placing pinterest and Google+ images in the template??

    Hi Guys:

I hope your Christmas was a good one. Now it's back to work and I have a question. I am creating Facebook, twitter, pinterest, and Google+ on my site or at least I am trying to. In the Aberdeen Neutral template, the facebook and twitter icons are already in the footer. I am trying to get the other two there, right along side of them.

I went to includes/languages/english/extra_definitions/aberdeen_neutral/footer_menu_defines.php to add the proper line of code for facebook and twitter. I have added what I thought was the proper code for pinterest:

    Code:
    define('pinterest', 'http://pinterest.com/petluxuryboutiq');
I placed the pinterest icon image here:

    HTML Code:
    includes/templates/aberdeen_neutral/images
How do I get the two connected so that the image will show up where it is supposed to? I know it has to be in code but I'm just not proficient in that yet.

    Thanks in advance again,

    Silver

Sorry, I forgot to add my URL: [url]http://www.petluxuryboutique.com

    Thank you

I do not use this template but I think you can connect FTP and go to includes/templates/your_template/commons/tpl_footer.php and find facebook or twitter and change the href value.

I just did what you said and didn't see anything that had to do with facebook or twitter. I am thinking that this can be done through the banners but I really don't know???

    Thanks,

It is better to ask template related questions to the appropriate template support thread. Always read through the thread before you post since most questions get asked over and over again.

Add the code for your links to includes/templates/aberdeen_neutral/common/tpl_footer_menu.php

    Thanks,

    Anne

    Anne:

I apologize for placing this question in the wrong venue but I wasn't sure where to place it as I did peruse the forum for an answer prior to posting. Thank you for the information. I will give it a go!
