Default Migrated store from IIS 7 to Mac OS X Server.app, cannot log in

I am really assuming this is a server setting somewhere, but I cannot seem to figure it out. I went through the whole migration process outlined here:

    https://www.zen-cart.com/content.php...fferent-server

And am unable to log in to the admin site. Not using SSL and I feel like both my configure.php files are in order. I ran the fix_cache_key.php file and that went fine. This forum post:

    http://www.zen-cart.com/showthread.p...in-Lion-Server

points to php's 'session.hash_function' and setting it in php.ini to 1, which I've done, but phpinfo reports this:

    session.hash_function sha512 sha512

Just to see if I was going crazy I deleted the entire install on the new server, created a new DB, and did a fresh install, and am having the same problem. The only concern with zc_install was with the php version, but it was yellow and not red so I didn't worry about it.

I've tried with both Safari and Firefox on Mac, as well as Firefox and IE on PC just to make sure it wasn't a browser related problem.

I am also no receiving any sort of errors or warnings in the apache logs. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

UPDATE: Just noticed that when I load the customer facing page, I get this at the bottom of the screen:

warning: an error occured, please refresh the page and try again

When I try and add something to the cart, moving to the user login page, I get a nice black error above the test that says:

    whoops! your session has expired.

hoping this might help someone to know what is going on.

SECOND EDIT: Might have found the problem. Mac OS X Server.app keeps an additional php.ini file in

    /Library/Server/Web/Config/php/php.ini

and guess what line it has in it? session.hash_function = sha512

I replaced sha512 with 1 and restarted the web server, but the problem persists. Just for good measure I removed that line completely, saved the file, and rebooted the server. Will report back what happens.

THIRD EDIT: That did the trick. Had to delete the browser cache and now it all seems to be working. Hopefully this will help someone else in the future!
