Admin keeps locking me out

Hi,

I've never had this problem before. Admin keeps locking me out. I've tried resetting the password using the query, and then when prompted change the password. That works fine. However, when I exit the browser and try to go back to admin, it will not accept my new password- or any password.

So I run the query again. Works until I exit the admin. Then when I try to enter again, locked out. Password no good.

This is happening on both the web server and on localhost. My web host is bluehost, local is xampp.

When you run the sql query to reset admin, well it does just that... including admin get changed to Admin. Capital 'A' in Admin.

Case sensitivity will get us all every time ;)

I had a similar problem yet different when ZenCart did not allow me to reset my password. The program was not sending me a reset email.
I found an extremely easy solution to this problem. I did everything shown here and it did not work. I have been frustrated testing all the google search responses all to failure. At my frustration point I began to think STUPID. What does not make sense and I found the solution. When signing into ZenCart and requesting a RESET PASSWORD email which does not show up. I decided to look in the SPAM email folder and there were all the emails with the reset codes. FIXED IT!
