help, shipping International shows First Class when over 4lbs

Hi All,

I've got a fairly new ZC setup and a Canadian customer just asked me to custom order a ton of yarn. I went to my shop to do a quick calculation to see how much to quote her for shipping. I have the latest USPS module (2014-03-07).

She wants 34 skeins of yarn

The weight setting on the yarn per item is .12

My USPS module has:

1st-Class Package Intl Service weight max: 3.62
Priority Intl weight max: 66
Priority Express Int weight max: 66

I do not have any other international shipping options.

When I put 34 of those skeins of yarn into my cart First Class International still displays! Yikes! This will kill me on shipping as the USPS cut off for First Class International is 4 lbs and these items should weigh in over 4# (4.08) and are .46 over my Max setting.

I have not changed the admin->configuration->shipping/packaging to add any extra weight or percentage.

Is this a known bug?

OK after some checking it seems that the rates for Priority International are showing up in First Class International slot, so I won't be slammed on shipping because the customer will just choose this option.

However...

The rates for Priority and Priority Express are completely off.

OK one last note.

I uploaded the usps.php module (under another name) and did an sdiff -s on the original usps.php and the new file - they are identical

I have made changes to the usps.php to add in a Media Mail filter by category --but these changes are only in the domestic shipping area.

If anyone has any insight I would appreciate it!

Could you edit the USPS shipping module settings in your Zen Cart Admin and down at the bottom of the settings turn on the Debug to Logs ...

Then, try your quote ...

Now, look in the /logs directory and Zip the Ship_something.log file and attach it to your post?

Also, add to the Zip your customized usps.php file ...

Could you please set your USPS shipping module to Debug Logs and generate the log file in your /logs directory then Zip that and attach it to your post?

It is 100% more readable and contains a lot more information about the shipping results when trying to determine issues, thanks ...
