a 10.81 $ is perfect;y converting to 35.02 MYR

but when I add a product and add attributes, the input currency for attributes stays $ and so does it in zone rates table...

In your Zen Cart Admin, did you enter your Product Prices and Attribute Prices in MYR or in USD?

A default currency, needs to have the:
Value of:

set to 1.00

then run the Update Currencies ...

If your Products/Attributes are entered in USD, then you should have USD set to the Default currency with the Value of set to 1.00 and then run the Update Currencies ...

Now, if your Products and Attributes are set to USD then you want to setup your Shipping settings based on USD ...

You need to be consistent on the currency usage ...

1. your default currency value should be set to 1.00 then update currencies

2. then in your input prices your default currency will be set!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3. then you set your shipping by your default currency!

4. then you give a HUGE BIG HUG to Ajeh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
