Adding a new link on the main menu tabs

Hi,

The person whose help I was taking to code my main page has left, and I need to make an urgent change in the menu tab on main page.

The tab option to change is "Coming Soon". Using developer toolkit ( thank God for this tool -- its my lifeline ! ) I have found that it is defined in tpl_drop_menu.php as :

<li class="submenu" style="background-color:#ffe103;"><a href="<?php echo zen_href_link(FILENAME_OFFERS); ?>"><?php echo HEADER_TITLE_OFFERS; ?></a></li>

But there is no other mention of this constant - FILENAME_OFFERS anywhere. I am assuming this person never defined it.
I want to link this to a category ( its main category ) - FREE GIFTS.

How do I do it?

Well, you said you want to point it to a CATEGORY, so you would NOT define FILENAME_OFFERS at all.

Change zen_href_link(FILENAME_OFFERS) to zen_href_link(FILENAME_DEFAULT, 'cPath=555')

(replacing 555 with whatever category your "free gifts" category is)

zen_href_link prepares the http:// your_site.com/index.php?main_page=xxxxxxxxx correctly for your pages
