A client has had this happen twice now, a product was ordered at a price that is not correct, cheaper than it should have been (although the product WAS at this price a while back, but was changed). Also the order number that came in is an old, duplicate number, about 200 orders ago which was about 3 months ago.
So how can this happen?
I had a thought about old returning carts, but surely that just remembers the product IDs, not the pricing. If I create a whole order but dont do the final step and confirm the purchase, then come back 3 months later, I wont get an old product price and order ID will I?
We are using paypal express checkout and PayPal Website Payments Pro (USA).
We got the payment and emails to say the order had gone through. BUT no order in admin, the order from 3 months ago with the matching ID is there, but not the new one.
Appreciate any help.
