Sorry if I'm being too dense or if the question is answered elsewhere but I did try to find an answer.
Is the list below the minimum version or highest version that is compatible? It seems to indicate that V1.3.9h will not function on MySQL versions higher than 5.1. Yes, I am dragging my feet on a upgrade but there is no MySQL spec listed for V1.5.x.
Host sent note today that MySQL 5.1 is discontinued and wants to upgrade to 5.6 with the option to drop back to 5.5 if zencart cannot function on 5.6.
MySQL Version
- Zen Cart v1.2.x thru 1.3.8a were designed for MySQL 4, and will give errors on MySQL5
- Zen Cart v1.3.9 is compatible with MySQL 4.1.3+ thru 5.1
- Zen Cart v1.5.x and v1.6.x expect MySQL 5
- Zen Cart v2.0 has been written with MySQL 5.1+ compatibility in mind.

Generally such lists refer to minimum requirements, unless specified otherwise.
I've been using v1.5.1 on MySQL 5.5 without issues.
I'm not aware of any specific reasons why it would have trouble with MySQL 5.6 either..
