That might well work. But it is not an ideal solution for a PCI compliant user. And this error is on a straight-out-of-the-box installation. I am sure that it is configuration/server dependent as not all people can be experiencing it otherwise the forum would be much noisier. But nonetheless we need to find a solution that does not involve disabling chunks of card security.
I can get it to work by editing the module as described above. But like others who look at this code I have to say that I am puzzled about how that change can actually resolve the issue. Dr Byte is much more knowledgeable than I am regarding the Paypal system so ...
