Customer Logins are not secure

I'm still setting things up in my 1.51 installation and almost have everything done but I have a few problems with the security of logins and the site. We're running a dedicated IP with SSL, the site's admin is now set under SSL and the front door to the site as well but when I try to login as a test customer the https disappears and all I see is mysite.com/zensite (not real names) with no https. What am I missing as far as the customer logins under SSL?

Do you have your store-side configure.php (/includes/configure.php) set to use SSL?

you probably have some error in configure.php, possibly an added subdir in the end ?

I found the problem, somehow something wasn't done properly so I fixed it. Thank you for your time in answering my query.
