Removing "centerbox" from category page

In need to remove the center box with tabs "new" "featured" "specials" off of the category pages.

Is there a place in admin im missing or, remove from php?

Configuration->Index Listing (assuming template honors the change/removal of those boxes/options)

Okay, I said that, but I'm not sure I answered the question you asked. You said you wanted it removed from the categories page... If that is the case, may need more information. Please try to answer the questions in the posting tips above the text box of a post... Otherwise hopefully there was a miscommunication, and the issue is resolved.

Thank yo so much mc12345678, it was what I was looking to do, the sub cat page was looking very confusing to the eye with all the listings below. now only the sub cat names show.
