Overall width and sidebar alignment problems

Hi there

Question 1:

I'm having trouble with my sideboxes. When I installed Titles for Images from the plugins area here at ZenCart, the alignment of the right side moved and now it sort of sits center in the sidebox.

I have tried playing around with the column width in admin to change the sidebox widths to 165px but when I refresh, no changes happen. Is anyone able to work out what is causing the error?

Question 2:

I'm using the Responsive Boutique Apparel template by Picaflor. It says it is a responsive template that changes size depending on the device you are using. Is it possible to widen the the area between the two sideboxes on each side making the overall width a bit wider? In admin, I have three options for the sizes for the template:

Width of the Left and Right Columns
0 = Use Default Template Settings
1 = 75px
2 = 150px
3 = 225px

I have it set to 225px but would like to make it a bit wider again.

I was able to fix the sidebar alignment issue in question 1 by changing the value I listed in question 2 to 150px. I'd still like the overall width of my website a bit wider though. Is this possible?

If you want the entire site width to be wider then you need to change the width of the .onerow-fluid in responsive.css. Note that there is more than one place this is specified due to the media queries.

width: 980px;

Thanks to both of you. It worked and I'm really happy with the size.

Are you able to tell me how I edit the side column size? Anne, you said on your forum that the columns on responsive boutique are 185px. How do I go about reducing them to 160px? Adjusting the widths in the admin only changes the things inside those columns but I want to adjust the width of the column itself.
