After copying site for upgrade centerbox stays empty

I am experiencing a weird problem. Since I finally wanted to update to 1.53 I have copied the whole shop and database to an unused domain. I have changed the config's and removed the (licensed) magneticone mods. After that I wanted to do an update to 1.53, but first I need to get the current shop working ofcourse. But after the copy the store only shows headers, footers and categories. The centerbox remains empty: no welcome text, productlisting, EZ-pages,.....

Can someone please enlighten me?

What you're describing is a partial-whitescreen, which implies that there's a myDEBUG*.log file in the /cache folder (you did say 1.3.8a, right?) if you've installed the Debug Error Logging Utility (http://www.zen-cart.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=606). If you haven't installed it, do so and refresh your homepage to get the log that will identify why your page is not rendering.

Thanks for your reaction. I already installed the debug tool and just updated it. Unfortunately there is no debuglog

found the solution: from tpl_main_page.php this line was missing
"require($body_code);" it was incorperated in the magneticone cache mod. And i deleted that part of the code
