Shipping question

I am trying to sort out my shipping and am a bit stuck on how to go about it from the start
I am running the latest Zencart version

I want to set it so that it shows delivering to the UK mainland including the channel Islands and Northern Ireland only,
also I want have a set rate postage cost of £3.50 and if an order total is over £35.00 then its free delivery only

How would I go about this am totally lost

Hi Frank thank you I have payment set up with paypal express but want to use Zencart for postage charges its the postage charges that am unsure of how to set along with the zones

You set up zones in Admin > Locations/Taxes > Zones. Your zone may already be there. If not you can add a new zone to the list.

Next you go to Admin > Locations/Taxes > Zone Definitions and set your tax(es) etc

Now set up shipping in Admin > Modules > Shipping

Select 'Flat Rate' and install that module by clicking the button on the right. Restrict it to United Kingdom and enter your rate (GBP 3.50).

To enable free shipping over GBP 35.00 you need to install 'Free Shipping Options', also in Admin > Modules > Shipping and restrict that to 'United Kingdom'

Have been playing about with this for the last couple of days, every time I add the zone to the flat shipping rate the light goes to orange if there is no zone the light in flat rate goes green
so am not sure what am doing wrong

Ok it seems to be working as the attachment shows and have tried it with multiple items and still at the flat rate though didnt go through to the paypal express yet on the test
just need to sort the free shipping when spending over x amount now

Have just noticed though that under Barnsley on the address it has GB, I dont have an option for the different UK counties
