Adding "Add to cart"-Button or product in a document-general

Hi,

I am offering products like yoghurt-maker/shaker (e.g. product id = 15).This is a product-general.

I also have a document-general with recipes how to make a yohurt.
At the end of the text I would like to have an "add to cart"-button with the yoghurt maker (product id=15).

Is there any possibility or workaround for this idea?

I have seen what you describe, adding a button to add different product to the cart than what is displayedit does obviously require some programming;however, if I'm not mistaken ucould use the field that is identified as the uri of the product to redirect to the actual product's page. This way after reading the recipe, able to find out more about the blender and then purchase, though yes it is one more step. :/

I wish I could think of a good search term or remember exactly what/when it was. I seem to remember that swguy said something like that's not the way I would do it and a discussion about sending people directly to the cart or using a pop up window. Not sure if that was the same thread where someone said not good to use some of the suggestion(s) because... Hey look squirrel?! And another responded squirrel, where? :) maybe that's it, try serching for squirrel and see if the thread that comes up is related to your question or not. :)
