    Default Poodle

I'm confused about one point regarding this. What if the server is set to no longer support SSL v3?

A client's server reports that is does not support SSL v3 but is using the unmodified PayPal module and there is no error when getting to PayPal. I didn't complete payment, so maybe that's the reason here.

Would disabling SSL v3 cause problems with un-edited payment modules?

    Thanks,
    Jim

It doesn't matter whether YOUR SERVER has or doesn't have SSL v3 enabled on it.

It comes down to what's supported by the server you're connecting to. So, when PayPal finally completely kills their SSLv3 support, you will want to be sure your store isn't requesting SSLv3 ... and to do that means simply disabling the line of code that requests SSLv3, as we've stated already: http://www.zen-cart.com/showthread.p...yment-security
