    Default shipping based solely on dollar amount???

    I truly have searched for 2 hours for an answer to what I think is a simple question... Here it is...
    How do I charge shipping based on dollar amount spent?
    ex:
    0 to $50=$5
    51 to 100=$10
    and so on

    If I used the table method and charged shipping based on price (see below) would that work?

    49.99:4.99
    99.99:6.99
    149.99:9.99
    199.99:14.99
    249.99:19.99
    250:0.00

    would it work like this... orders up to 49.99 would be $4.99 and orders between 50 and 99.99 would be $6.99 etc...?
