Data Base not complete on fresh install

php ver5.6.0
MySQL 5.6 64 bit
zencart v1.5.4 Fresh install


after completing zc_install successfully I could not get the admin screens at all server 500 error even though the empty store opens fine. after doing some troubleshooting I found the following error in the log

I then manually added to the table hi_admin_activity_log ADD COLUMN logmessage mediumtext NOT NULL
and restarted iis now everything is fine.

Just thought o would want to know the installer did not create that db properly
