Default Weirdest of the weirdest problems ever seen

    Hi guys.
    This is just not natural.
    Zen cart 1.5.1
My PC has a adsl connection based on a fixed ip
    The IP is 94.33.36.xxx
If I connect to my site www.acq uatua.it and go into admin who's on line I can see my visits coming from IP 128.30.52.70 or 128.30.52.71 or 128.30.52.73 instead of coming from 94.33.36.xxx or not showing up at all as it should be because that IP i set as admin IP.
If I connect using my smartphone in place of the adsl, using the thetering and connect the PC to the internet trough the smartphone again I can see the visit coming from IP 128.30.52.70 or 128.30.52.71 or in 128.30.52.73
    Any clue?
    Ciao from Italy

P.S. I am not far away from mental hospital recovery

Seems to me like your data is being routed through a proxy server.

    Things to try:
    1) A different web browser.
    2) check your proxy and network settings

    Cheers

    Ok.
After having written here and driven crazy my provider who started screaming "there is someone in your site", after having changed all the passwords, to access the site, the cpanel, my refrigerator, TV set and bathroom, destroyed the site and rebuilt it I found, before reading this answer, from were the problem was coming.
The damn wr3c validator extension installed in chrome, was routing the visits I was doing trough a server at the MIT (Massachusetts Institute Of Technology).
    So simple and straight!
In the mean time I also found that Google Analytics does something like the w3c but they use much more scaring server placed in Ukraine!
    A scary saturday, believe me!
However, thanks for answering and as usual...zen cart forum is right!

Most things tend to be simple AFTER the cause is known.

Thanks for providing the info that it was a Chrome Extension causing the weirdness. This info could be useful for others in the future (and a little bit more trivia for me to try to remember) :-)

Google analytics? Really? I thought this was only a receiving server/service. If it was one of their crawlers I wouldn't be surprised as they have 1000's of servers spread across the globe.

    No response needed..

About Google Analytics, it happens only if you install in chrome the extension that, nicely, show you in real time some of the data you can browse in the standard pages.
    Ciao
