I've install into my zencart 1.5.4 (php 5.6.11) this contrib

but only new product it seems don't update!
Can you help me to understand where is the issue?

You might want to check with the author to see if the RSS even works with 1.5.4. Lots of changes to Zen Cart since 1.5.0
