Sold out verses not available

Hello,

How do I prevent Zen Cart from removing a product from the list the customer may view. I would like the product to show "sold out" and remain viewable by the customers. Currently when a product goes to zero (0) stock it is removed from the list and goes to "zero" stock. I must then modify the change (click on) the "in stock" radio button on the "category/products" management page.

Bottom line, I would like a given product to go to "sold out" and remain viewable by customers.

Change the settings on Configuration ... Stock ...

Set to 1 so the Product is not set to products_status 0:

Products status in Catalog when out of stock should be set to
Show Products when out of stock

0= set product status to OFF
1= leave product status ON

And for showing the SOLD OUT:

Show Sold Out Image in place of Add to Cart
Show Sold Out Image instead of Add to Cart Button

0= off
1= on
