    Default There seems to be a problem connecting to our database

    Hi,
    I thought I had this sorted then this hapened...

    I have a current website and I have a zencart shop on it all working great for a few years now.

    I have purchased another domain from my web host and installed zencart onto it. now my original website is stating that it is offline... www.craftjam.co.uk

    why would it take my website offline? Is it to do with databases?

    oh ok, i had not touched anything on that particular site at all.

    Should i just use filezilla to re upload some backup files?

    Think I may have sorted it. I think I have possibly changed the password for the wrong database...

    Ok,
    That all got fixed however now on my new site giftsjam.co.uk I get this message.. WARNING: An Error occurred, please refresh the page and try again.

    I have checked both config files and they match all logins on the database.

    Is this still a database issue?

    Not necessarily, but you should now have at least one error log in your cache directory (assuming you are actually using ZC 1.5.0)

    Yup, a database issue.

    Using trusty phpmyadmin, take a look at the database that is associated with this store (old store right?) Verify that there are tables listed, then assuming that there are only about 97 tables, identify the full name of the first few tables.

    Old site fixed, this is an error with my new one...

    SO I have gone into PHPmyadmin and there are no tables at all for the new site.

    That's actually a good thing based on the desired result that was posted in another thread. Need to now import your old store's database to this new store that is supposed to be the same version as the previous store.
