SSL install but problem admin login

Terrible what does it mean:) .... There are more bad things ....
the only problem is that I can not go into admin with SSL without SSL .. no problem.

When I attempted to copy, paste, and post examples of the applicable configure.php files, all of the content lost its line endings and the entire "file" became one line of text. This is not only difficult to read, but it would not make sense and in some cases if copied and pasted from the forum to a server would then also not work in some cases... The displayed result was just horrible. I had to therefore "rewrite" the response so that it could be understood/seen.

But, I also had a short timer, because editing a post can only be done for a specified time period. I therefore cut all that I had already modified and replaced it with something that was long enough to be accepted by the system and for those that were on email (like yourself most likely) would see that the post had been significantly edited and possibly see why.

All that said, my follow on post is the content that I intended to be seen and it is presented as desired (multiple lines, formatted, etc...)

If you still want everyone to arrive at your site using https:, then the htaccess modification you had in place could again be used, but it really is only "important" to the first page that is loaded. After the individual arrives at the site, any next click will take them to an https: page. There are a few exceptions, where the page will always load using https (in later versions of ZC1.5.5), but that's something of a different issue. :)

Glad that it is sorted out. It is very important when upgrading/applying modifications, etc... that either provided instructions be followed (easiest to reference back to and say I was on step X when this happened) or concepts that are understood are applied and are explained. It's all about everyone helping others from a point of knowing what is going on. :)

Sorry that it took so much to get to just providing the solution. There is a lot that can be learned along the way, because that experience will help solve other things that may come up.
