Last week our hosting company made some changes to our hosting account and the linkpoint (First Data) gateway no longer works. We get the error
"We apologize for the inconvenience, but we are presently unable to contact the Credit Card company for authorization. Please contact the Store Owner for payment alternatives."
I have searched on the forum and found many tests to see what the issue is and what I believe is the port is being blocked. When I run the test /extras/curltester.php?linkpoint=1
I get the following response
Code:
28 Connection timed out after 20001 milliseconds

I contacted the hosting company and the port was not open. They needed the IP address to open it. I have looked everywhere and the only IP address I could find is 208.72.248.102
I had them open the port for that IP address and I still get the same error. I emailed first data and have not received any response form them since yesterday morning so I am stuck waiting for the customer and first data.
I first want to make sure that is in fact the issue, and if it is what IP address do I need to white list to get through that port?
