Moving v154 to New Server... Move as is, then upgrade?

The hosting for my store has become expensive so it's time to move it to a new server.

It's a two language (English/Japanese) zen store (v154) that is kind of in mothballs... No sales these days, but I'd like to retain it as a historical record, though it may get revived at some point. (I should mention that there seems to be very little action happening in the Japanese language area, so updating the Japanese side of things will probably need quite a bit of an effort...)

Considering the above, I think I should just move it to the new server as it is... Later, if I decide to revive the store, then at that time I can put my energy into upgrading.

Would love some thoughts on this.

Moving as-is, especially since you're not 'looking to' upgrade right now, is the way to go. Your new server, since the store is based on zc154, will need to provide a variant of PHP 5.6 (not PHP 7+) for that code to continue working.
